    Mark is a co-founder of PÔNT and a former Partner at PwC's USA firm. He lives in Mexico and focuses on M&A Sale-Side and Buy-Side Transactions, advising and coordinating through the entire transaction cycle, including preparation, due diligence negotiations, contracting, and deal closing. He has over 35 years of experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, and Consulting.

     

    He recently completed an important cross-border transaction involving the acquisition of a Mexican company by a PÔNT Strategic Partner and is one of three Partners spearheading a mega transaction between an Asian Conglomerate and a leading Mexican company.

     

    During his tenure at PwC, he spearheaded the establishment of the Business Transformation and Corporate Finance practices in ASEAN (Singapore), China, and the Russian Federation. The focus of his career has been the preparation of enterprises to raise capital. This has included a host of USA ADR-based IPOs in ASEAN, China, and the Russian Federation, as well many private placement transactions across multiple of countries.

     

    Mark holds an M.A. in Foreign Affairs (China) from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, an MBA in Finance from the Univ of Southern California, and a BA in Business/Spanish Literature from Rollins College.

     

    He is able to work in English, Spanish, Chinese, and Bahasa Indonesia. Mark brings a wealth of multicultural expertise to PÔNT, and leads our Mexico and LATAM practice.
