Strategic legal professional and lawyer with over eight years of experience leading complex cross-border transactions, infrastructure and energy project finance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and controversies for Fortune 500 companies, including PEMEX, Sojitz Corporation, and Enagás, S.A., in Mexico and LATAM.
Reporting to C-suite executives and leading teams of up to 25 people, managing transactions valued at up to MXN$5 billion.
Successfully contributed to significant transactions in Mexico, such as the historic PEMEX joint venture with Mexichem (now ORBIA) and Sojitz Corporation's acquisition of AFASA, a leader in the car financing market. Extensive knowledge of the Mexican regulatory environment for M&A, including Antitrust (COFECE) and other regulatory bodies.
Experience includes advising Mexican and foreign clients on the full spectrum of transactions from startup mechanisms to the correct management and operation of their businesses in Mexico across various industries.
